Avant Garde in Tel Aviv has decided to honor the French with alcohol. To mark Bastille Day, the bar is offering champagne-based cocktails and French wines at special prices.

Resort seaside restaurant in Tel Aviv port is also celebrating the holiday with a special cocktail menu, but ones based on cognac.

Homage to fromage
The Gourmet Shop, the French cheese expert, is marking the day with an evening of gourmet cheese tasting, live music and a discount on all French products in the store

A taste of Paris
Traklin bistro on Nahlat Binyamin in Tel Aviv is celebrating the holiday with an evening of French wine. The evening includes a talk by a vintner from the Assaf winery in the Golan Heights, and a five-course meal. The entire evening costs NIS 195

The restaurant Juliet Kitchen in the Sharon region is celebrating Bastille Day with an evening of gourmet food. The meal, available from 18:30, comprises five courses and wine, and costs NIS 180

Francophile party
Zimmerman Bar in Tel Aviv is marking France's Independence Day with a French punk party. Dance the night away with DJ Tatteo, while supping cut price champagne and cognac.
