Before contacting us about a printing
problem please read the following notes carefully.
We
also suggest that you quickly review the Haaretz International FAQ
page, which contains more general information and covers log in and
password related problems. Please ensure that the free Adobe Acrobat
Reader software is installed on your system. You can download it by
clicking here.
Given the variety of available operating
systems, browser versions and different versions of Acrobat Reader,
a small percentage of users may experience printing problems when
accessing the PDF version. During the testing of Haaretz
International we found that the Internet Explorer browser provided
the most solid and trouble free support on the Windows platform for
the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in, and that the Safari browser
provided for the easiest experience for Macintosh users.
Problem: I cannot print from the "Print Full Edition"
link
Advice: Try opening Haaretz International from the
"Browse Current Edition" link. This should open up Haaretz
International?s PDF File in a browser window using the Adobe Acrobat
Reader Plug-in.
The easiest way to print is by pressing the
print icon in Adobe Acrobat Reader (see illustration) and this
should bring up a full print menu allowing you to print the full
edition or the specific pages you require.
Problem: I
tried clicking on the "Browse Current Edition" link but nothing
happens.
Advice: This problem suggests that there is a
problem with your browser's interaction with Acrobat Reader.
If you are a Windows user using a browser such as Firefox,
Netscape, Mozilla or Opera, we suggest that you try using the
Internet Explorer browser. If you are a Macintosh user please try
the Safari browser to access Haaretz
International.
Problem: I have changed my browser but I
still cannot access the PDF version of Haaretz International.
Advice: Try downloading and installing the most appropriate
version of Adobe Acrobat Reader for your system even if this
requires reinstallation. Click here for download page. After
installation try again. You should then be able to access the PDF
file, and can then use the print icon button to print as shown in
the above illustration.
Problem: I keep getting referred
to the login page.
Advice: Please check that cookies are
enabled in your browser. Our user recognition system requires
cookies to allow automatic logging in.
Problem: None of
the above steps worked.
Advice: Please Email us at
Customer Support, giving a brief account of the problem and the
troubleshooting steps you have taken, along with details of your
operating system, browser details, and Adobe Acrobat Reader version.
It also helps if you can send us a screenshot showing any message
screens related to the problem. |
