Woman in the pulpit
This letter refers to Who's that woman in the pulpit?
This movement in the Orthodox community did not happen in a vacuum and is one for which the Orthodox have all too easily criticized their co-religionists.

This letter refers to Obama asked to explain after his minister 'damns' America
I used to believe that you just hated Hillary. While that likely plays a role in your laudatory coverage of Barack Obama, I now believe you are, in fact, terrified of being accused of saying anything racially insensitive

Christine Moore
This letter refers to Americans have a favorable view of Israel, especially Republicans
Stop focusing on Israel's favorability or non-favorability polls, and focus on the reasons behind its declining popularity among certain sectors of American and other societies...

Rabbi Keith Stern
This letter refers to What's wrong with Obama?
McCain is the perfect Israeli style candidate, a trimmer Sharon. For us over here, it's time to invest in a new model, dare I say, a new order... an order that includes Israel first and foremost, but sees the future of Israel in concert with a long term Middle Eastern policy.

Foxman wrong about Huckabee
This letter refers to Why Republican candidate Mike Huckabee worries Jewish voters
"I hope after you do some additional research a recognize that Mike Huckabee would be THE strongest ally of Israel and greatest friend of the Jewish people of any candidate running for president in either party. Abraham Foxman and the Anti-Defamation League speak as though they represent all Jews in America"

Huckabee is best for Israel
This letter refers to Why Republican candidate Mike Huckabee worries Jewish voters
Governor Huckabee would be the one candidate who would not sell Israel out. I don't believe any other candidate would stand by Israel if it became unpopular- Mike Huckabee would.

Brezinski is Polish first
This letter refers to Brzezinski against the right of return
Brezinski is surely aware that the problem of the so-called Palestinian refugees claim is being finally expanded to also address the issue of Jewish refugees from Islamic countries, and, once the ball starts rolling, other refugees might decide to join the bandwagon.

And what if Obama was a Muslim?
This letter refers to Jewish organizations to Obama's defense
Why cannot Obama just say: "I do not happen to be a Muslim, but if I were it would be no shame, and no reason to hate me or exclude me?" Obama lacks the moral courage to make such a statement and instead offers assurances that he is a Christian.

Racists are a small fringe in Ron Paul's camp
This letters refers to Ron Paul to Haaretz: Israel can get by without American aid
Before I begin I want to thank you for your balanced article on Ron Paul.
I understand the concern in the Jewish community over the streak of conspiracy theory involving what (sadly) more than a few would publicly call "The Zionist Occupation Government." I'm a convert to Judaism and I support Dr. Paul and would not be able to do so if I believed that he shared such convictions. I don't believe he does.

Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee
This letters refers to Ron Paul insists: 'Israel encourages Americans to go into Iran' and to The panel doesn't believe Huckabee's pledge to 'stand by Israel'

I disagree with you that the military option against Iran is off the table as a result of the National intelligence Estimate. I am not convinced. Recent statements make it clear that it is definitely still ON the table.

This letter refers to The clear loser from Ahmadinejad's visit is Israel.
Jack
Does it insult you, as it does me, that so many of the loudest protesters regarding Ahmadinejad are rightwing like Dov Hilkind? If Israel wants to retain the support of Jews elsewhere it had better get back to the ideals that made it great so early in its existence, and they include social justice, something for which Hilkind and his ilk have little or no use.

Barbara
I am dedicated to serving interfaith couples and the families they create. I believe that when a couple desires to invite God into their partnership, it is the responsibility of all of us clergy to make it happen. I have worked with couples where we incorporate family ritual items into the ceremony, such as a tallit which, as is part of the Italian wedding tradition, we wrap around the couple's shoulders during the exchange of vows, a family kiddush cup and a Christian family bible from which I read a passage from the Book of Ruth.

This letter refers to Powell aide: Israel told us Iran, not Iraq, is the problem, an August 30th posting in What to Read.
I am pleased to read that within the Israeli government and elsewhere there were voices of reason urging the US not to attack Iraq. It is unfortunate that President Bush chose to ignore this advice. I disagree with your interpretation of this as "the ultimate counter argument to the Walt-Mearsheimer book". At the time of the run up to the invasion of Iraq it's true that AIPAC did not have an official policy on the War. However, as Dana Milbank reports in a 2003 Washington Post piece on that year's AIPAC convention:
