Story of the Year
The past year has seen upheavals on all fronts, with Israel going to war against Hezbollah; the government shelving its proposed unilateral West Bank pullout and the Likud, Labor and Kadima experiencing a change in leadership. Israel also celebrated the naming of another Nobel laureate, and saw one of its most renowned literary figures cross swords with the American Jewish community.

As 5766 draws to a close, readers are invited to vote on what they consider to be the stories of the year. The poll is open until September 27, after which the results will be published.
