Two Palestinians indicted for murder of W. Bank settler Ido Zoldan

An Israel Defense Forces court in the West Bank on Monday indicted two Palestinians suspected of murdering Israeli Ido Zoldan near the settlement of Kedumim last November.

The trial of the two suspects - Abdullah Brahm and Jabber Brahm - is scheduled to begin on February 24.

Zoldan was killed in a drive-by shooting allegedly carried out by Fatah security service members near Kedumim on November 19, a week before the regional peace summit in Annapolis, Maryland.

Ten days later, the IDF and the Shin Bet Security Service arrested the suspects near a West Bank village.

The defense establishment treated the shooting as an attempt to sabotage the summit in Annapolis.

After the murder, the 'Jewish leadership' division of the Likud, to which Zoldan had belonged, released the following message:

"Those who released terrorists and signed pact with murderers since the days of Oslo, are fully responsible for this murder. We must all join the effort to replace them in order to save Israel from those who seek its destruction."
