Ten to one "Team Evil" is one, or perhaps a hand full, of script kiddies who found a ISP with sloppy security and proceeded to take advantage of that fact.
Netvision need to develop some vision about server security.
I hope they were bright enough to run a honey pot to track the script kiddies.
Then they can choose to tighten up security, contact the ISP of the kiddies and request blocking, take legal action, or, there are methods for distributed denial of service attack that could retaliate viz the miscreant hacker(s). |
