| Yeah, Iran won the first round of diplomacy big. The idiocy of the Bushiz in attacking Russia and humiliating President Hu at the White House certainly cinched it. The US has finally figured out that those two nations will never let any wording in any Security Council resolution give the Bushiz an excuse to attack Iran. And the Persian Gulf nations, as well as other oil producing nations made it clear that such an attack would be costly to the US. But do not assume that just because the US has given up on a decade old neoconservative dream of conquering Iran, that the Security Council cannot act to sanction Iran. In fact, with war off the table, the chances of sanctions have increased. |
