By and large, Israelis do not believe that others of different races are inferior. Jews come in all different colors & origins. The charge of racism is used here to (1) try to turn the classical victim of hatred due to one`s Jewish origin on its head to then potray the victimized as the perpetrator and to thus embarrass Israelis and (2) to make Israelis feel morally inferior because of wanting to exercize the right of self defense inherent for all nations. Israel is a multicultural society with laws to protect all. Want examples of discrmination based on origin: Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan giving death penalty to convert, etc. Not the Jewish people having to put up an existential fight for survival.
