| Gideon your voice is important and its sad so few take you seriously but there is no need to use the word racist. It doesnt describe the reality. even as someone who harbors very leftist views it is clear we are not being racist. we dont hate the arabs cuz their arabs we hate them cause there our enemy and they are our enemy. the problem with israelis is that we are adhering to a very real politique hobsion world with our actions... and i dont think all of us realize this... there have always been right wing jews who veiwed the world and conflict in this way... jabitinsky comes to mind as he not only predicted but justifyed arab resistance... but in his world view our cause was more important. this wasnt racist or even elitist... it is an us or them view of the world. no morality, no true right and wrong. the problem is the right today doesnt stick to this purity... they want to be seen as moral yet govern the world in the same way as their predesesor. continued... |
