| I mentioned before that I don`t condone what Marzel said, but I think you let Avnery off too easily (to be fair, so did I when I referred to him as just "a foolish. irrelevant old man" before). Avnery`s statement was not just one of support for the assasination of an Israeli minister, but can be easily interpreted as support for future assasinations of this sort. While you think that Marzel`s statement gives Israel haters more "ammo", I think Avnery`s does as well - and perhaps more so. |
