| Gee, I`m thinking I`m getting too old to have hope. I remember the 1967 6-day war. I couldn`t help but be touched by the young Israeli soldiers praying at the wailing wall, bathing in the Jordan River, talking about how joyous they were to be in Judea and Samaria again. But, you know, I also couldn`t help but thinking that their youthful joy was missing the fact that they hadn`t conquered an empty land -- that there were an awful lot of goyim who lived there. There was talk from Israeli Jews about how now ALL of Israel was "theirs" (The Sinai and Gaza too, tho` they were less enthusiastic about that). That the democatic, Jewish state of Israel ran from the Sea to the Joran River. Not true, I was thinking. Not both democratic and Jewish unless you depopulate the goyim from the lands. |
