| This old chestnut must be challenged. Jews had found refuge and lived in peace in most Arab countries (often from prosecution in Europe) for centuries. Life only became difficult when they associated themselves with a racist belief (Zionism) that actively practised ethnic cleansing. They were also helped along by Zionist bombs (Egypt) and stories creating a climate of fear. Then as now, numbers (as in race) were seen to be important. Then as now, racists did more harm than good. Whats wrong with one state where the law applies equally to all who live there? Answer - a racist belief called Zionism which woulod never accept such a fine value. |
