Joseph Towns: I have to disagree with you. I believe that the two-state solution, with the Israeli Jews and the Palestinian Arabs each having their own independent, sovereign nation-state, with a shared capitol of Jerusalem (Jewish West Jerusalem the capitol of Israel and Arab East Jerusalem the capitol of Palestine) is the ONLY safe, sane and sensible solution to this decades-old solution.
Given the horrors of Jewish history, and the horrors of Palestinian oppression and exploitation not only by Israel, but by the Arab countries as well, both peoples are in need of self-determination and normalization in the form of their own independent, sovereign nation-states, with Jerusalem as a shared Capitol, which would protect both peoples against repeats of their horrific histories in the future. |
