| Why can`t the Israelis accept the fact that Hezballah has beaten their military in a fight conducted professionally and with great effectiveness, despite Israeli superiority in the air. I don`t think the Vatican contributed much to that. The Hezb has an issue with the concept of an Israeli superpower in the region and not with Jews per se. Israelis could have been Hindus, or even Muslims imported from Indonesia with pretensions to dominate the region,and had they invaded South Lebanon, hezballah;s position would have been the same. I hope many Israelis can see that and stop kidding themselves and wallowing in Jewish victimisation |
