You´re so wrong . I´m an atheist , agnostic at the most . But I´m unquestionably Jewish! Never attended a Jewish school , never sent my very Jewish children to Jewish schools . Nevertheless,both my son and my son in law became observant Jews and are sending their children to Jewish schools so that they ´ll learn Hebrew and become more familiar with Jewish culture and religion . I live in Argentina , never needed to go to the synagogue or speak Hebrew to know that I , as well as my whole family, are Jewish . This happens with the majority of families that live here : they are not practising Jews .
Besides , the more non Jewish people makes us feel threatened , the more we feel proud and certain of our Jewish identity .
And love and feel proud of Israel , of course . |
