I am in full support of the decision of the British court in this matter. The hypocritical situation of JFS and other schools who discriminate their school intake on the basis of halachic Judaism is on par with any other kind of racist discrimination that the Jewish people are always quite vocal at protesting.
But this is a bigger issue than JFS. The state of Israel promotes this policy on a far wider and profound scale than a small British school. The full Law of Return should be reviewed and repealed on the basis that it too is quite racist in its basic tenet. Let`s debate the REAL issue of "Who is a Jew". |
