| Israel is at an impass. It can neither accept Iran having a nuke, nor can it do anything about it. So all it can do is to move ships around just like a chess player who is at a drawish position and has nothing other than moving the pieces without a clear purpose. Israel has, of course, the military and tech power to oranize a full fledged attack on Iran, yet what will happen afterwards ? It is not Gaza which Israel can torture endlessly without being afraid of terrible revenge in a forseeble future but Iran ? Hizballah would have become mad and would start to attack Israel to an extent that IDF will have to occupy Lebanon again... So no way.. Iran will have its nuke but surely it will not attack anyone. Israel will be still a superpower of the ME but with a slightly different psychology. |
