Dave,Dave,Israel could have flattened Hezbollah with a true,full-fledged attack, but was compelled to serve as a proxy by US to see if air power could do the job on its own. Israel
demonstrated what it could do in Gaza after developing technology and strategies that would also serve it well vs. Hezbollah. If Israel
were to make the fateful decision to hit Iran`s nuclear facilities and infrastructure, clearly they`ll have also decided on a no-holds-barred
attack on Hezbollah--one that would not sit well
with the Sunnis and Christians who, having accepted Hez. into the govt. would be a mite
perturbed at thought of Hezbollah`s Iran-ordered
attack ensuring the destruction of their country. Israel would have to again endure missiles, more powerful missiles, hitting its pop.centers, but Israel, unlike Lebanon (and Gaza) will have already taken sophisticated steps to protect its pop.to the greatest degree possible.

When you`ve decided to hit Iran,"world outrage"
will not faze Israel
