| It is only logical to assume Israel can not `take out` Iran.But Israel certainly can damage some of the facilities.Would that mean the end of Iran`s nuclear ambitions? Iran will leave NPT, go completely underground in persue of nuclear weapons and with vengence. However,the issue has never been the `total destruction of Israel`. That is for the simple minded. The real issue is the existence of the Islamic Republic and her ability to gain security guarantees from the West and the United States in particular.A nuclear Iran strengthened by ties with the United States will marginalize Israel.Perhaps you can now understand the push behind getting the so called moderate Mousavi elected in Iran and why the hardliners lead by Khamenei and his puppet Ahmadinejad stole the elections.The faction that signs the deal will be the ultimate winner.Besides,the first time these mullahs fire a nuclear weapon is the last time they exist on this planet.They understand it well.Don`t kid yourself. |
