But from what your very own description, Olmert did offer to give up Israeli sovereignty in E. Jerusalem, and to create a special international arrangement for the holy basin. So wouldn`t be a more accurate characterization of the very story you told be, that *Abbas* in fact was unwilling to give up on either the Right of Return or full sovereignty over the holy places? |
