Once again, the palestinians were offered a state, and once again they rejected it. Is this offer exactly what they wanted, of course not. But the partition plan accepted by Ben - Gurion in 1947 was not what we wanted either. Ben - Gurion realized that a small state was better than no state. That`s how important a Jewish state and homeland was and still is to us.
The palestinians have a different mind frame. They don`t need or want the state as badly as we did (and do). Because, if they wanted it, they could have had it several times over.
Their goal is to make as big a state as possible, covering all the land of Israel, and taking everything away from us. They will keep at it till they acheive their goal |
