I`ll be the first to admit that I am by no means an expert in the Israeli legal system, but it seems that there should be a way to present certain evidence behind closed doors without compromising the defense, prosecution, or national security. Especially since the evidence looks very air tight. These are the stories can make Israel look very bad. And if this guy goes and does this again, not only will this be a misfire of justice, but the blood of an innocent will be on the hands of those who did not prosecute him.
