Its a shame that the Maccabiah organization refuses athletes to wear a yellow ribbon in support of Gilat Shalit. Its not a political statement rather a sign of solidarity. When the organization of Maccabiah 2009 is afraid to offend high officials, they should realize that the same officials could not get Gilad back in Israel. A big shame!!
