As long as there is Hizbullah and its goal is to destrpoy Israel and revenge every little thing and look for excuses for war, ISrael must continue to prepare for war if it wants peace. The difference this time around is Hizbullah is part of the lebanese government. If Hizbullah starts another war, the entire country of lebanon becomes a target not just Hizbuillah in the leb south. It behooves the current government to remove the threat and siarm them, then approach ISrael about a peace agreement.
