| It was the PA which suspended the last round of negotiations because of Operation Cast Lead and not Israel. So now that PM Netanyahu has said that he is ready to renew them, Abbas and Erekat try to toss on preconditions for them to take place in the hope that they can get the U.S. to force Israel to capitulate to their demands without anything in return. Hmm, if Israel is willing to renew talks but the PA isn`t, then its going to be the Palestinians who are going to look like the spoilers of peace. When are the Palestinians going to realize that they are in no position to be making demands and that the only way that they can get their state is via a peace agreement with Israel first? |
