We should not be wasting money on building in the settlements when it is becoming very clear that most will be turned over to the Palestinian in the end anyway. We should instead be building homes in Israel in places like the Negev were there is plenty of land available to house those displaced from the settlements.
The settlements have become more trouble than they are worth; they damage our relations with Europe and the US and have invited calls for boycotts of our products that will surly damage our economy.
Enough already, we must quit the settlements and negotiate a lasting peace. |
