| i heard an orthodox rav express wonder that secular jews even celebrate hanukkah since, he said, hanukkah is really about religious jews killing secular unbelieving jews. he said that the war with the greeks was a side issue. hanukkah was really a civil war, religious versus secular. so anyone thinks it can`t happen again, think again this hanukkah. |
