| If the water shortage is seen as a problem to Israelis, what about Palestinians? Recent World Bank reports show that Pals on the West Bank only have a fraction of what Israelis consume, since 80 % of the water is taken by Israel. Even worse is the situation in Gaza where spare parts for drinking water systems and sewerage installations are not allowed in. I think it will be appropriate to spend the tax fully on improving Palestinian water supply, since they are in a far worse situation |
