But what ever it says it will not matter. "When two successive governments betray their responsibility and leave wounded troops in the field, Noam, father of captive soldier Gilad Shalit, fulfilled his responsibility toward his son, toward all the sons." - ibid The noble and persuasive Noam Shalit is motivated by human love for his son. The politicians love only their power. You cannot shame the current government of Israel Yossi Sarid. Nor is Israel capable of feeling shame any longer. The huge demonstration of moral substance which grew in outrage over the Lebanese refugee camp massacres long ago cannot happen today. |
