| Israel attacked to reach deterence, that is, to prevent rockets from firing against its citizens. It did not attack in a gangsterish mannor, and Israel does not need to be different then any other country when it comes to self defense. The leftists would like Israel to be `politically correct` all the time and just let thousands of rockets rain down, so that israel will never accidentally commit a "war crime." For me on the other hand, I would rather Israel protect the lives of its citizens at all costs, even if it results in civilian casualties. I`m sure 95% of Jews are the same.. |
