| I read widely in the world press and the middle east - Israel and the gulf states - are the only regions generally obsessed with `swine flu.` The nature of the beast is now understood. It is a particularly feeble form of flue. It is no threat even though it is pandemic. The elimination of communal cups is a good policy for many diseases that are worse than swine flue. So, good that community health will improve though perhaps community looses a symbol. But what is the obsession with `swine flue`? It is a name, not an animal. |
