| thanks for bringing up the example of the gaza international airport. because that?s one of the best proofs showing that the palestinians are not interested in peace. after all, following the construction and opening of the gaza international airport in 1998, the airport was used for smuggling weapons to the palestinian territories with the intention to use these weapons for attacking israel (which was done in 2000 by the start of the second intifada). only following these attacks israel destroyed the airport in 2001. since hamas states constantly that it?s not interested in peace with israel but in destroying israel, it is no wonder that israel doesnt want the airport to be reopened. each other sane country would do the same as israel. in view of the hostile words and actions of hamas in gaza, everything else would be a suicide mission. |
