if only it was CLEARLY presented as being completely separate from, and NOT a part of, the political process.
but since it`s representative of netanyahu`s original "proposal for peace", with NOTHING said that would suggest otherwise...
the palestinian response to its continued pursuit by israel is completely understandable!
IF however, it was made clear that it "parallels", or is pursued in conjuction with, israel`s willingness to reach a viable agreement on a palestinian state...
it would amount to a "gem"...and would greatly enhance israel`s image in the palestinians eyes. |
