| Incidents such as this call into question not just the person of the IDF chief rabbi, but the office itself (and yes, Rontzki should be told to pack up and go home). Perhaps it?s time the IDF instead considered introducing a chaplaincy service, including chaplains from all the major streams of Judaism (and any other religious groupings represented in the ranks of the IDF). http://blog.maskil.info/ |
