Aluf Benn claims that Netanyahu "would do better not to try to beat Obama, but to secure understandings and cooperation with him." Obama, however, has just suffered his first foreign policy debacle in Iran by failing to react to events, and foreign policy in Washington is now fissured. Re vocal support for Iran`s protesters, who overruled Hillary and Biden? Gates and/or Jones? The U.S. is stronger than Israel, but does this make the U.S. wiser? At stake is Israel`s sovereignty and survival.
