that Obama, definitely, absolutely, undoubtedly was a pro-Israel democratic candidate. Only 6 % of Israelis believe that rubbish.
The problem is not a Palstinian state or settlement freeze or air-strikes against Iran.
The problem is the "Audacity of Hope" BS that has broken the "unbreakable bond" between Israel and the USA in emotional, spiritual, moral and political terms.
THAT is what Netanyahu needs to understand and repair. And if he is disliked, he must send somebody likable. Lieberman is the worst possible choice. Sarkozy did us a favor out of sincere friendship. Throw Lieberman out of that post and give him any other. And put Barak or Livni -if she is ready- in that position of FM.
It can`t be serious to have octogenary Peres doing that role de facto, and having an unpresentable FM. |
