| 13 Jewish Democrats. So what, you`re worried that somehow, we`re under represented? There are very good reasons why there are so many Democrats, and so few of the others. Yet, I recall Israeli media seemed to say that somehow McCain and his party are better for Israel? Maybe Israeli media types should stop looking at what religion candidates profess, and look instead at the policies they profess. That`s what American Jews did (including this one) before we broke out any sort of rubber stamp based solely on faith. Al Franken is good people.It`s nice that he`s Jewish too.I simply cannot believe that some Israelis, who know American Politics better than we do sometimes, really believe that Franken will support Israel somehow less than Coleman did, or his party might have done. Political labels are nice, but sometimes, to see what`s in the bottle, better you should take the label off. |
