Humanity should discover its past and learn about our past.
However peace in the ME cannot be simply dependent on history. It should be based primarily on the current realities on the groud today.
Today we have 5 million Jews in Israel most of whom are native to this land. There are also 1 million Arabs inside Israel plus the Arabs in Gaza and the WB. Both are seeking to live in their independent states. The solution is for the two parties to get together and find a way to peacefully share the land and coexist side by side with mutual respect.
And as for the history under the land: It is the mutual history of both nations and they should respect and share it. |
