| No one is forcing the EU to keep paying off the Palestinians. That money goes partly to finance terror anyway. It`s about time the Palestinians` "brothers" in Saudi Arabia and all the other Arab countries who pay little more than lip service to their cause ponied up. But they don`t because: 1) they don`t really care, and only use the Palestinians as a bludgeon against Israel and a reason not modernize their own backward, corrupt systems; and 2) the only ones keeping the Palestinians back are they themselves. They could have made a decent society in Gaza and had open borders with Israel and Egypt, but instead chose to shoot rockets at Israeli civilians. The blockade is their own fault, and everyone knows it. The EU are fools for enabling Palestinian political dysfunction with their hard-earned money. |
