Palestine was the name that the Romans gave the region - Israel only existed for a couple of hundred years (Rome lasted much longer) and it was destroyed - apparently, this god given piece of desert could not last. You would think, if you believe the Jewish propaganda in their book of mythology, that Israel would be the longest lasting continues state, how could just a holy land lose a war after all! having god on its side.
Silly people. In any case, the territory was known as Palestine FAR longer than it was ever known as "Israel" and I think that the Canaanites would object to anything less. |
