| One minute Assad wants peace, Next moment he threatens he will take the Golan by force.I have come to the conclusion Assad just doesn`t get it. If a country lost the Golan in a war they started and you wanted even a slim chance to get it back. Then you become a partner in peace maybe for 10 years and then just maybe Israel would say we feel our peace is sustainable and we won`t need the Golan as a buffer from your attacks. Sadly Assad thinks by threatening Israel they will shake in their shoes. I believe when Iran is knocked down a few notches which will happen soon enought. Assad may want to go for the peace route. So far Assad has done nothing to earn trust from Israel. |
