| Just as about 80% of Brits describe themselves as `broadly Christian` and 80% of Israelis would probably call themselves `broadly Jewish`, so would very many Pals describe themselves as `broadly Muslim.` Your concept of `secular` probably applies to fewer than you might suspect in ancient societies like England or the Middle East. |
