Nevertheless, even if there is no softensing of the Arab or Palestinian positions, here is no strategic threat or security danger to Israel if it freezes settlement construction. Doing so does not at all create any sort of risk to Israel or to its citizens. Accordingly, the fact that Israel`s politicians can not do it period, expresses what their true intentions are..... The Arabs, Palestinian or otherwise, do not gain any sort of terrorist or military advantage if settlement construction is frozen. |
