I made aliyah from NY about 5 years ago and I am still here- and LOVING IT! My salary may be slightly lower than it was in NYC, but my take home pay is much larger. After work, I go sit at a cafe on the beach and relax- who in NY can do that year-round?! Life here is just better...
My parents actually chose to bring us out of the USSR and move directly to the USA instead of Israel - My brother and I have corrected their mistake - now my parents have joined us in Israel - the way it should have always been!
Saying that, ALL ex-Soviet Jews in the US/Canada/Germany/Australia should move to Israel! It was a crime to bring them to America instead of Israel- but Western Jewish organizations just wanted their piece of the pie. |
