And when you are talking about "Israeli-occupied territory" then the Occupying Power is, legally, the IDF.
Not the state of Israel, but the IDF.
So if the Americans want something done in the occupied territories then the right and proper people to talk this over with are the politicians that the IDF commander in the West Bank answers to.
Which is Netanyahu and Barak.
But not Lieberman.
Plus, of course, the Americans consider Lieberman to be an appallingly loathsome individual. |
