| We see Bibi`s interpretation of two states: Israel in total control of a toy Palestinian state, demilitarized, ever-shrinking, devoid of resources, quietly submitting to every disappearing dunam of land that Israel continues to take. Bibi has decided that the refugee problem will be solved outside Israel and that the Palestinians will be content with their splintered, deminitarized bits of land that is his excuse for a Palestinian state. Curiously he has donned spectacles that allow him to see his side and his side only, and presume that the other side will consent. He has also taken credit for quiet in the south that was achieved largely through a campaign that ended before he came into office. So far Bibi has proven that he can feint any move to halt settlement expansion on the pretext that he is a peacemaker. Trouble is, we see through his talking through one side of his mouth while he shuttles settlers from place to place and builds new neighborhoods. |
