This statement is true and false. Hitler, like a lot of strong armed dictators, accomplished some positive things. But what the Formula One Chief forgets to consider is at what cost and was the price worth it.
Stalin, Franco, Mussolini, Mao - to name a few others - also "got things done", but at a terrible cost to their peoples.
Ariel Sharon also "got things done" and even managed to occupy illegally occupy part of Lebanon - but his time ran out militarily when he stood by and allowed thousands of Palestinians to be murdered in cold blood at Sabra and Chatila. And he started a mass of trouble with the Palestinians with his blatant disregard of their holy shrines.
In the balance, none of these men who "got things done" was worth having around and I would not buy into the "Chief`s" ideas. |
