| Dictators always get "lost;" absolute power corrupts absolutely. Hitler was a murderous psychopath from before he was a dictator until his death. He destroyed the Jews of Europe. He also destroyed most of Europe itself, producing untold misery in his quest to establish the mastery of the "Aryan Race" and seizing even more personal power. Saddam was also a murderous psycho from day one, who produced unimaginable misery in Iraq, Iran, Kuwait and Kurdistan in his quest for personal power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Ecclestone, apparently, lacks the basic human intelligence and decency to recognize a monster when he sees one, or to recognize the value of allowing people to have a say in their own government. At this point, I would boycott anything related to Formula One over this insanity. The man should be locked up before he hurts himself. |
