| No matter how much Idrael may be willing to accomodate the Palestinians or any of the moderate Arab countries, they must remember the lesson of the Danish Newspaper Cartoon. Israel can give up Jerusalem and allow full independence HOWEVER, one small mistake... such as a cartoon in a magazine is enough to turn most Moslems into revenge seeking killers who will then use any advantage that they are given in a peace deal to attack Israel. How can you make concessions to people who can turn on a dime into a vengefull mob. The medievil mentality of Israel`s neighbors is beyond the comprehension of the modern states - Israel can not put the knife so close to its own throat and then just hope for the best. It`s unfortunate but it`s reality, no one can negotiate their own death. |
