| Good for Obama if he can build bridges; his background is wide, lived in many countries and parents from different backgrounds; and he understands the law, our English law in the USA and maybe islamic law. He should not be an ignorant as were the Bush advisers before him who knew nothing about the arab world and religion. I think that Iran in becoming a theocracy has turned Islamic law inside out. I think islamic law is separate from the state, is meant to be interpreted by the experts instead of being dogmatic. Since 9/11 everyone in the USA had to learn about the islamic world. Now no one is as ignorant as before 9/11. |
